The investigating service of the Ministry of Finances of Georgia found out falsification of famous Georgian wine Kindzmarauli which was sold in various shops all over the country.The investigation revealed that employees of Iberia Company systematically falsified expensive wine Kindzmarauli and sold it in various shops. The falsified wine production didn’t meet required standards, and the quality of wine was low.

EU committed to swift signing of association agreement with Georgia

President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso said at the opening of a joint session of the European Commission and the Georgian government in Brussels that the EU was committed to signing an association agreement with Georgia, ITAR-TASS reports.Barroso noted that the EU will give Georgia full support of political, economic and judicial reforms.The EU plans to sign an association agreement with Georgia and Moldova this summer. The document will open the European market for the said countries.
